Visit one of Hanabi Japanese Restaurant. The number of customers dining for lunch or dinner has proven that the restaurant gives unforgettable gastronomical journey in ala carte buffet. As long as you can maintain your big appetite, taste a comprehensive and impressive range of Japanese specialties, ranging from sashimi, sushi, temaki (hand roll), yakimono (grilled), agemono (deep fried), teppanyaki (hot griddle), to soup. The thick miso soup served with fresh salmon head will be a great starter of your meal as its flavor flows to every corner of your mouth. If you are a great fan of sashimi, do not miss the chance to enjoy fresh catches of salmon, tuna, yellow tail, octopus, cuttlefish and cobia. They are harmoniously eaten with wasabi and Japanese soy sauce. One of the sushi is shake tanuki (crispy salmon). It is a sushi combining crispy crumb and crunchy cucumber inside, sticky and vinegary Japanese rice wrapped with seaweed and raw fresh salmon as the top layer. Each layer gives you different texture, surely rendering a great sensation. Another must-try dish is yaki niku (beef in teppanyaki sauce). Once you bite this imported beef, the juice will squeeze out with very strong aroma and taste. The accompanied grilled onion enhances the deliverable aroma. The choices of fried dish include tempura consisting of eggplant, sweet potato and prawn. Fresh and crunchy prawns give its sweetness, indicator of how fresh they are although the sweet potato is still slightly hard. The coating is very crispy and the tempura sauce is awesome. Grilled dishes are also in the menu if you think fried dishes is unhealthy (it is not oily, though). There are kushi mori (skewer platter – shisamo, chicken, mushroom) and saba shioyaki (mackerel). The grill aroma is indeed appetizing. A great mix of honey coated chicken which is crispy outside, chewy mushroom and lightly salted shisamo (Japanese fish with full of eggs in its body) confers the message to order more. Salt spread on top of grilled mackerel functions as a flavor enhancer. Although not many picks of dessert on hand, goma (black sesame ice cream) and yuzu (Japanese lemon sorbet) are the top favourites. Sticky texture and not so creamy ice cream has a very distinctive and intense black sesame taste. The sorbet really imitates the sour fresh lemon taste and its texture is not as rough as ordinary sorbet. A real Japanese-look interior design, its sushi bar and clamp shell-like lightings really makes your imagination flying to Japan. The Japanese songs played generate another deep feeling of it. Furthermore, the dim light and convenience offered by the restaurant construct a different environment as compared to the surroundings. Going to Hanabi Japanese Restaurant will never be a regrettable gastronomic journey. Enjoy and prove it yourself!
